Collezione Maramotti is pleased to present Library Insights, a small series from the Collezione Maramotti's Library.
We hope to offer to art lovers but not only, a glimpse of our Library and Archive: a vital, defining centre of research that has accompanied the permanent art collection ever since its foundation in 2007.
The first series of "Library Insights" consists of brief videos focusing on five artist's books from the library of the Collezione Maramotti that are a true testament to the history of the collection. These are limited-edition volumes made in the 1970s by the poet, gallerist and art critic Mario Diacono and the artist Claudio Parmiggiani: Delocazione, Annunciazione, Deiscrizione, Daphenphoria, Malanggan.
The second series of "Library Insights" narrates about three limited edition volumes by Claudia Losi, Krištof Kintera e Jason Dodge. The three artist's books are characterised by the use of the box as a personal instrument for a cosmic narrative.
