How to enter the online reference library
Online queries are possible in order to have an idea of available materials. Data will be displayed in short.
- In free field, insert search key words.
Search is focused on artists in the Collection, contemporary artistic movements and titles of books/publications; search by other parameters is not allowed (e.g. by author) unless the author is an artist present in the Collection
- Through the dropdown menu it is possible to set a filter, by choosing the category of the search material. Available materials belonging to other categories will also be displayed in short
- For the search by title or compound names (ex: “De Maria”) we advise to connect the words with inverted commas (as for the most common search engines in the Internet) to let the system retrieve the complete string from our database
- The publication dates of texts are ordered by decades, therefore to search for a text from “1963”, enter “1960”
- The order of results may be modified according to different criteria for each category (see “order by”)
